Visual Thesaurus Shows Word Relationships

A recent news article reminded me of one of my favorite web applications, Visual Thesaurus.

The tool, which graphically shows the relationship between words, thoughts and phrases, helps teachers & students, authors, journalists and other writers (resume writers?) find better ways to use words, to eliminate overused or meaningless text, or to discover meanings behind phrases.

For me, I just think it’s very cool.  Try it now…
